Pointwest, leading IT company in the Philippines and Amazon Web Services (AWS), the brand of the world’s most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud platform, conducted a lunch forum “Re-envisioning Digital Healthcare” held on Wednesday, October 16, 2019, at The Bellevue Manila, Northgate Ave, Alabang, Muntinlupa, Metro Manila.

Over 50 attendees composed of directors, administrators, medical records officers, and IT officers from various hospitals were present at the event.

The forum focused on the crucial role technology plays in accelerating the progress of healthcare, with three topics: transforming hospital operations using an integrated end-to-end hospital system like iPatientCare, digitizing paper records using intelligent OCR Skriba, and saving on cost by using secured AWS Cloud Hosting versus the traditional office-based data center. These technologies support the demand for more efficient and future-ready medical services.
