February 13, 2017
On February 19 to 23, the Pointwest delegation, led by Pointwest President Beng Coronel and Vice President for Outsourcing Practice Lucila Flores, will be at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida to attend the 2017 Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) Annual Conference & Exhibition.
This five day convention is one of the biggest and most anticipated events of the year for thought leaders, decision-makers, innovators and experts in the field of healthcare technology worldwide. The conference features over 300 informative sessions, 1200 exhibitors and 45,000 healthcare and medical professionals in attendance. This year’s keynote speakers include Ginni Rometty, Chairman, President and CEO of IBM, John Boehner, Former Speaker of the House US House of Representatives, and Ed Rendell, the 45th Governor of Pennsylvania.
The annual HIMSS Convention is a platform for communication, discussion and understanding of important issues facing healthcare technology today, which include cybersecurity, revenue cycle solutions, telemedicine, connected health and blockchain in healthcare. Pointwest Healthcare will hold a booth at the exhibit floor to showcase its technology and business case studies, along with other members of the Philippine delegation to this event.
While our team is excited to seek fresh insights and best-in-class practices at the HIMSS Conference, this is just the beginning of our itinerary in the US.
