Pointwest gives boats to Yolanda-hit communities

Pointwest Technologies Corporation completed the turnover of fishing boats to twenty fishermen of San Remigio, Cebu, last Sunday, 23 Nov. 2014. The boats are part of Pointwest’s continuing efforts to assist communities affected by supertyphoon Yolanda just over a year ago. 

Funding for the boats came from donations given by the Pointwest Community after Yolanda hit. Through these efforts, Pointwest was able to donate relief goods to several communities and assist in the rehabilitation efforts in the affected areas.

The boats were made in partnership with the Yellow Boat Foundation.
