Job Title: Software Engineer Project Lead (IM 186)
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Responsible for leading software engineering projects.
Determine technical goals, such as improving the design processes, developing new products or designs, and then make detailed
plans to accomplish these goals.
Work with customer and business analysts to define the scope of the features and functionalities of the software that are eligible for automation.
Review system requirements, design and implement. Monitor overall programming processes and stages.
Perform technical design and develop software solutions using the following standards, methodology and technology.
Software organizational standards: CMMI Dev and CMMI Svc; Software engineering process group for process improvements; and Process product quality
assurance internal audit of projects. Software Methodology: Agile Scrum Development; Kanban; and Waterfall. Development: Language – Java EE; Web programming – html, js, css,
jquery, gwt, angular; Logging and testing – log4j and junit; Database and SQL programming -oracle 10g/11g; Application server and middleware – ibm websphere app server 7 to 8,
lightstreamer for real time data flow, oracle webcenter sites, oracle weblogic servers; Database Framework – ibatis/mybatis, jdbc; Messaging – Tibco EMS, IBM MQ, Lightstreamer, MQTT;Services – SOAP, REST API; Development Environment – IBM Rad 7 and Eclipse; Versioning -Subclipse, clearcase, git; Change Management and Support – HP Service Manager, Service Now; Monitoring Tools – Dynatrace, Sumo Logic, Akamai, Splunk; and Project Reporting – HP Quality Center, Jira.
• Bachelor of Science in Electronics or Computer Engineering
• 3 years of experience
• Prior experience must include: Core Language (Java EE), Front end development (html, js, css), Back end development (soap, rest api), Oracle, IBM websphere and Agile Scrum.
